Central Georgia Cancer Care
Compassion, Innovation, Community
The Central Georgia Cancer Care (CGCC) team begins every day with a clear mission in mind: that patients in Macon and Warner Robins, Ga., receive first-class, personalized care in their community. The mission has inspired them to advocate for independent community oncology since opening nearly 50 years ago, and now, to start their own CPAN chapter.
CGCC is patient-centered in every sense. The practice assists patients struggling to afford care with financial counseling, including helping patients access discounted medications and copay cards, and providing grants for essential services like groceries and utilities. CGCC works with local research institutions and healthcare organizations to develop new therapies and conduct clinical trials that offer patients the latest treatments.
CGCC joins a surging network of CPAN chapters across the United States that are educating and empowering patients, survivors, professionals, and caregivers to advocate for independent community oncology. Advocates plan to tap into their mission of serving innovative, compassionate care to strengthen cancer care for patients in central Georgia and across the country.
