Desert Hematology Oncology’s close-knit team of cancer care professionals provide personal, high-quality care to patients in the Phoenix area. Desert Hematology Oncology understands the important role clinical leaders play in protecting access to local, patient-centered care and launched their CPAN chapter as an additional way to support their patients.

The small but mighty Desert Hematology Oncology team understands the complexity and urgency of a cancer diagnosis and offers each patient around-the-clock access to high quality, accessible, personalized, and timely cancer care. To relieve some of the stress and anxiety patients face, they also provide financial and nutritional counseling to help patients overcome common challenges during diagnosis and treatment.

Through its CPAN chapter, Desert Hematology Oncology will lift the voices of patients and oncology professionals to advance and protect independent, community-based oncology. Patient advocates and staff will participate in local and national advocacy events, sharing their first-hand experiences with policymakers during practice-based advocacy events and participation in CPAN’s annual hill day and national conference.
